Though Edgewater doesn’t have a recreation center in town, we are seeing some great, boutique-style gyms move into Edgewater. One of these places to workout and have a great time doing it is Epic Ryde on Sheridan. Located just north of Dunkin Donuts at 20th and Sheridan, Epic Ryde offers an indoor cycling environment to work off the calories from your donuts.

Co-owners Annie Garland and Lori Melchior opened Epic Ryde over two years ago to provide an excellent indoor cycling experience for those at any fitness level. They offer stadium “seating” for their RealRyder bikes that mimic the tilt and lean of a real biking experience. Most recently, they have begun to offer classes in TRX which is a great workout to increase strength, power and flexibility. This Saturday, February 1 they are offering a free introductory TRX class. Find out more here.

Stop by Epic Ryde and support one of our unique Edgewater businesses!
