Saturday, January 25 the City of Edgewater and Joyride Brewing Company organized a “Farewell to the Mural” event at Joyride’s future brewing facility on 25th and Sheridan. A historical mural depicting events in Sloans Lake’s history will be removed so that Joyride can abide by Edgewater’s building codes. Glass garage doors will be places along 25th Avenue where the mural once resided.
