Edgewater Collective is looking for volunteer Math Mentors to serve at Lumberg Elementary this spring. The goal of the Math Mentor project is that students would be proficient in math by the end of 6th grade.
Math Mentors work with 3rd-6th grade students one on one in the classroom. Volunteers can choose how often they want to serve during the week. Tutoring sessions usually run 30 minutes and happen during the afternoon before school gets out at 2:45 p.m.
Free training is provided by Edgewater Collective and the next opportunity for training will be Saturday, March 1.
