This year’s Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater will be September 20th and 21st at Citizen’s Park, 24th & Benton, west of Sloans Lake. Entry is $2! Children under sixteen and Edgewater residents with proof of residence are free! The hours are 10 AM to 9PM Saturday and 10AM to 5PM Sunday. The festival mission is to celebrate Colorado’s diverse artists and musicians and to share the rich Celtic culture.

Featured are seven of the best local Celtic Bands: Colcannon, Indulgers, Celtic Friends, commoners. Stubby Shillelaghs, Big Paddy, Rare Oulde Times will play throughout the two days of the festival. To add an exciting, traditional flair there are Pipe Bands, Celtic Dancers and, on Saturday evening, a Clan Ceilidh and ceremonial calling of the Clans, an even it not to be missed.

Experience The Renaissance Scots Reenactment Village and learn about the early 1600’s of Highland Scotland, before the battle of Culloden. Shop for unique gifts and treasures in our Celtic Marketplace. Find the freshest produce and more at the Farmer’s Market. Indulge in a variety of food and drinks including fine Scotch and Oskar Blues Brews.

The Clans will join in the fun again this year with myriads of clan history, traditions and genealogy. Hawkquest will entertain and educate with their birds of prey. Featured again this year are sheep herding lessons with Billy Pickel. The Dogs of the British Isle will be showcasing over 20 dog breeds. New this year is bungee jumping with Airbound. A Punch and Judy puppet show by Cosmic Circle Puppets will enchant young audiences with a touch of whimsy and mayhem! Celtic-themed games and crafts for children of all ages, face painters, a medieval bouncy castle and storytelling in the Kids Korner make the festival a family affair.
