Boston based charitable organization, Team IMPACT and Regis University‘s baseball team forged a special relationship with Edgewater resident Myles Krick. 11 year old Myles Krick was diagnosed in 2008 with a brain tumor that has returned twice. He has undergone radiation, chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. He currently is in remission.
Team IMPACT paired Myles with the Regis University baseball team for the “Draft Day” event where Myles signed a letter of intent to Regis. Throughout the season, Myles will join the team for practices, games and social events and forge strong bonds with the players.
