Hearing Dog Walk, Run and Wag 5k at Sloan’s Lake

From International Hearing Dog, Inc.:

International Hearing Dog, Inc. (IHDI) will host its fourth annual Walk, Run & Wag 5k on Saturday, July 11th at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver, Colo. The run/walk event will raise money for IHDI’s program, which rescues shelter dogs and trains them to be service dogs for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

This family and dog friendly race will begin at 8 a.m. with registration starting at 7 a.m. at the southwest corner of the park. All participants will receive a race shirt. All dogs will receive a race bandana.

IHDI has been training Hearing Dogs for over 36 years in the Denver Metro. All dogs are placed free of charge to recipients throughout the United States and Canada. All the money raised during the event will go towards the placement of more dogs.
