Edgewater Candidate Forum Coming on October 6

This upcoming November 3, Edgewater residents will vote on a number of ballot issues from a Jeffco Library mill levy increase to recalling Jeffco School Board Members. Locally, five seats on the Edgewater City Council are open as well as the Edgewater Mayor.

This upcoming Tuesday, October 6, current Mayor Bonnie McNulty is hosting a Candidate Forum at Coda Coffee (5224 West 25th Avenue) from 6-8 pm. Candidates will introduce themselves, answer questions from the audience and have time to mingle with attendees. Jeffco School Board candidates will be in attendance as well as candidates for Edgewater City Council and Mayor.

The following are candidates for five open Edgewater City Council seats:

Steve Conklin
Myra Armon Keeble
Katherine Mulcahy
Todd Riddle
Kara Swanson
Larry Welshon

Kristian Teegardin is running unopposed for Edgewater City Mayor.

Tori Merritts and Amanda Stevens are candidates for District 4 of the Jefferson County School Board which represents Edgewater and parts of Lakewood.
