Sewbago is Coming to Edgewater

HISS Studio is proud to announce the launch of the SEWBAGO on March 20th from noon-2pm at Coda Coffee in Edgewater! Join them for the big ribbon cutting and open house!

What is the Sewbago? (Pronounced So-bay-GO!) It’s Denver’s first mobile sewing studio! They teach beginning and intermediate sewing classes in the cozy comfort of a classic Winnebago! HISS studio has been serving up great classes at their gallery location downtown for nearly 4 years, and to better serve our students they’ve gone mobile. The Sewbago will be making appearances at different farmer’s markets and events during the spring and summer, and classes will be available to take on site! Their regular class schedule will also continue on Sunday afternoons, with additional dates and times to be added soon. Classes are $20 and an hour in length, you can bring your sewing machine or use one of theirs!

How did all this come to happen? When HISS Studio was formed 4 years ago, the goal was to make some extra cash to help pay the vet bills for the owners special needs cat, Vega. What started out as a side project grew to have a following and many referrals, and now HISS studio is moving on up! They are so very thankful to have your support and the encouragement of their students to hit the road in this brave new venture! The Sewbago still needs a few things, so they are running a gofundme.com campaign and hope you will help them get the Sewbago ready for business!

Be sure to check them out at Sewbago.com or HISSstudio.com, and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and help contribute to the Sewbago on gofundme.com! See you March 20th from 12-2pm at Coda Coffee!
