You’re Invited to a Walking Audit – Let’s Walk & Talk on Saturday, May 7th

From the City of Edgewater and HEALthy Edgewater:

Our ability to comfortably walk throughout Edgewater is important to our quality of life including our health, environmental quality, and our local economy. Join neighbors and friends for a Walk Audit.

Focusing on a section near Lumberg Elementary, this group exercise will empower you to evaluate and provide input on what it’s like to walk for everyday trips, whether for work, school, errands, or exercise. Is it pleasant and inviting or does it feel unsafe and difficult?

We want to hear from you so please come join us for this important walk audit and provide your input. Your experience and impressions will help inform an Active Living Framework Plan to guide the work of the Jefferson County Active Living Coalition over the next two years.
