Update on the City of Edgewater paving projects from Community Services Director Dan Maples:
Thanks for everyone’s cooperation on this project. I think we all look forward to the day everything is completed!
Well every time I post a schedule, it seems to be changed the next day, but I will try. Most of the reasons for change has been issues that we find after starting work in an area. Here is what we are hearing for a schedule for next week.
Completed Streets:
2500 Block of Gray St.
2500, 2400, 2200 & 2000 Blocks Fenton St.
2500, 2400, 2200 & 2000 Blocks of Depew St.
2500 Block of Chase St. (small South Section to complete)
2500 & 2200 Blocks of Benton St.
2500, 2400 & 2000 Blocks of Ames St.
5300 Block of 22nd Ave.
5400 Block of 24th Ave.
Currently working on:
2200 & 2400 Block of Gray St. (should have first lift of asphalt done today)
5900 – 5700 Blocks of 24th Ave. – Milling today

We have put a few streets on hold due to some issues:
2400 Block of Chase St. – Need to add a storm sewer line
2000 Block of Eaton St. – Sub-grade needs to dry out.
2000 Block of Gray St. – Sub-grade needs to dry out.
