School is back in session so it means it’s time for the Edgewater Community Picnic! This Saturday, August 27 come on down to Citizen’s Park (Benton and 24th) starting at 6 pm for the Edgewater Community Picnic. Local businesses will have booths set up in the park and Canino’s Sausage is providing free hot dogs and brats. There will also be jumpy castles and other activities for kids as well as live music. The Edgewater Police Department will be at the park to answer questions and provide updates on the programs that they offer. They will also have their radar available for kids to see how fast they can throw a baseball or kick a soccer ball.
