Finally Movement on 20th and Depew?

Proposed site plan from Trinity Development website

Proposed site plan from Trinity Development website

* Update (10/14/2016): Trinity has now updated their website and taken out the mention of Alfalfas Market:

Edgewater Village is located on the corner of 20th and Depew in Edgewater, Colorado. This 6.73-acre site is in a prime location to capitalize on the expanding Denver market and is surrounded by an extremely dense unsatisfied residential region. Trinity’s development team has been and currently is focused on landing a natural grocer to anchor the center. Trinity has received a signed letter of intent from a local organic grocer and is currently in the process of working with junior anchor tenants to secure the leasing of the center. Anticipated leasing date is sometime late summer 2016.

Could there be progress on development plans for the former King Soopers at 20th and Depew in Edgewater? Trinity Development has announced progress on their plans to secure a “natural grocer” anchor for the proposed development.

Here is the statement on their website:

Last fall, the Denver Post reported that Alfalfa’s Market was eyeing a third location in Denver.

looks like Depew liquors is not in this proposed plan. do we know why they would not be in this development. my husband and I like it, and I know it has been around for quite awhile. I can’t understand why they would want to push it out.

Janelle, because its a ghetto liquor store and they’re trying to bring some class to the area. Why on earth would you think for a second they would be keeping it?
