Edgewater City Weekly: October 27, 2017

Dirt is starting to move at the Edgewater Civic Center site

From the City of Edgewater:

Public Works / Streets / Utilities

Tree Branch Drop-Off: Due to the recent snow storm, the City of Edgewater will be providing a drop-off location for tree branches. On Saturday October 28th from 9am to 1pm the City of Edgewater will take tree branches at 5990 W. 20th Ave. (Public Works Yard) Branches will be ground into mulch and mulch will be made available to residents at a later date. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept bags of leaves at this location. There will be a separate leaf pick-up in November for bagged leaves.

Special Item Pick-Up: All residents that utilize the City of Edgewater contracted trash service are given two (2) large pick-ups each calendar year. For a complete list of what can be taken in this service, please visit http://www.edgewaterco.com. (Under Service/ Programs tab, City Services, Trash & Recycling) If you are unable to make the drop off for branches this service could be utilized.

Leaf Pick-Up: Republic Services will be providing the leaf pick-up on Thursday, November 9th, 16th & 30th. Customers that have the City sponsored trash service can leave bags of leaves next to their Republic trash carts on the above-mentioned dates for pick-up.
