Community Schools Store Flyer - PDF

Jefferson Area teachers from Lumberg Elementary, Edgewater Elementary, Molholm Elementary and Jefferson Junior/Senior High are leading an effort to wrap the community around the local schools. Over the next few weeks they are leading a series of forums to listen to the community.

Here are more details on their efforts:

What are Community Schools?

Community Schools is a concept that is exploding across the nation; bringing educators, support personnel, administrators, students AND community together to create the schools our kids deserve.

What do Community Schools offer?

Six pillars for student success:

  • Strengthened Curriculum
  • High Quality Teaching
  • Positive Behavior Practices
  • Parent and Community Engagement
  • Wrap Around Services
  • Inclusive School Leadership

Why should you get involved?

A community that works together thrives together. By investing into our children’s futures we will make this community an even better place to live, work, and play.
