Exciting things are happening in Edgewater and we want to spread these good news stories. Edgewater Echo will feature stories from our local schools, upcoming events and business happenings. Our hope is to even feature local news stories written by students at our neighborhood schools. Edgewater Echo will also feature a community calendar of upcoming events in Edgewater.
The Edgewater community has a strong history of local newspapers though none exist today. We chose the name “Edgewater Echo” based on an early newspaper of the same name from the 1920’s. The tagline of the earlier Edgewater Echo was “Printer’s ink, though dark, is the light of the world.”
Our hope is that the Edgewater Echo will strengthen our community through providing good news stories of what is happening around our great city.
