Edgewater Walks starts today! This 30-day program will challenge you to walk 30 minutes a day at least 5 days a week with a chance to win prizes like gift cards and fitness gear for completing the program. Edgewater residents who enroll in the program before September 5 will receive a free t-shirt.
Each Tuesday during the month of September, there will be a guided walk and event with folks like our local firefighters and area businesses. The first Community Walk on Tuesday, September 2 will be begin at 6:00 pm at the Edgewater Fire Station 73 near the corner of 25th & Gray. Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District firefighters will be on hand for some pre-walk activities including stretching and simple fitness moves.
