Today is Colorado Gives Day sponsored by Community First Foundation and 1stBank. Colorado Gives Day is a statewide initiative to celebrate and give back to local nonprofits around the state.
Here in Edgewater we have two nonprofits based in Edgewater: Brothers Redevelopment and Edgewater Collective.
Brothers Redevelopment
Mission: Brothers Redevelopment is a Denver-based nonprofit organization that provides housing and a variety of housing-related services for the region’s low-income, elderly and disabled residents.
One of the main projects of Brothers Redevelopment is the annual Paint-a-thon where seniors and disabled homeowners across the Front Range can have their houses painted by volunteers.

Edgewater Collective
Mission: Cultivating partnerships to foster thriving Edgewater families, schools and community
One of the main projects of Edgewater Collective is the Jefferson Success Pathway which brings together community stakeholders to help all kids in the Jefferson High area succeed from cradle to career.
