As the Jefferson Plan for our local schools develops, one thing will remain constant. Michael James, who served as assistant principal in 2013-2014 and principal this year at Jefferson High, will remain as principal for this upcoming school year. In an update to the community, Jeffco staff commented on James’ leadership, “Mr. James has demonstrated a commitment to the Jefferson students and community in his passionate work to develop structures in support of all students. He has gained the confidence of the staff as well as the community in his two years at Jefferson High School, which was shared in feedback gathered from school staff and parent leaders.”
It was also released that Warren Blair, who currently serves as the principal at Wheat Ridge 5-8, will support the Articulation Area and assist the School Innovation and Effectiveness Team for the 2015-16 school year.
