On Thursday night (5/28/2015), the Edgewater City Council unanimously voted in favor of updates to the Marijuana Ordinance (City Council Member Todd Riddle was not present). The update lifted the temporary moratorium on new marijuana establishments and capped the number of establishments to five within city limits. Currently, there are six marijuana establishments in Edgewater, though if one of the these shops closed, then another could not open in its place.
