Supporting Our Local Schools

School Projects Slider 2

Edgewater has a strong history of education dating back to the late 1800s as people began to settle the area. As the city grew so did its schools and buildings have transitioned with the changing demographics of the area.

One of the dreams of local nonprofit Edgewater Collective is to see thriving schools in Edgewater. A majority of students in our area schools are working hard every day to overcome the roadblocks of poverty. For this reason, Edgewater Collective is devoted to leveraging the assets of the Edgewater community to infuse needed resources into our schools.

This spring you can donate to four different projects that empower schools to help students succeed. Projects range from rockets for 5th grade students studying physics to a hoop house for the Jefferson Community Garden at Jefferson Jr/Sr High School. All of the funds raised will go directly to the projects.
