Edgewater Collective is excited to announce that they have received a $100,000 Daniels Fund grant to support their work as the backbone organization supporting the Jefferson Success Pathway.
The Jefferson Success Pathway is a collective impact project focused on helping all kids in the 80214 zip code succeed from cradle to career. Over 30 different organizations are involved in this project. The focus area includes Edgewater Elementary, Lumberg Elementary, Molholm Elementary and Jefferson Junior/Senior High School.
“This grant provides the necessary financial resources for us to sustain and expand the Jefferson Success Pathway efforts so children in our area can succeed into a great career,” said Joel Newton, Executive Director of Edgewater Collective.
The following are the expected outcomes from this grant:
- Form a data team which will develop realistic population level outcomes and targets for each cradle to career indicator
- Find additional partners and funding resources to support the collective impact model and scale efforts for student outcomes
- Complete and present a 2016 Jefferson Area Report Card of progress on pathway goals and data indicators in November 2016
