From Jefferson County Library:
Everyone knows reading is important. And it’s vital to start that love of reading at an early age. That’s why we’re hosting a series of events called “Raise a Reader.”
It’s fun! It’s free! And it’s at your library. Learn to Raise a Reader through engaging and playful activities. Create simple projects to take home and enjoy a snack while visiting local community organizations and businesses sharing helpful information.
Our fair offers valuable resources to help you engage your little ones in TALKING – WRITING – PLAYING – DANCING – and READING.
We also have a special gift for the first 300 guests. Choose your favorite Jeffco Public Library location and mark your calendar for Raise a Reader.
Raise a Reader will be at the Edgewater Library (5843 W 25th Ave.) from 12 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24
Joel has been a resident of Edgewater, Colorado with his family since 2012. He is the Executive Director of local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective and Editor of the Edgewater Echo.
