Edgewater Collective is working with Jefferson Junior/Senior High School and the American Job Center to train and equip Jefferson Senior High students to be prepared for the workforce. On January 25, students will go through training on how to be prepared and succeed in a job interview. Then the next week, they will go through a mock interview.
This will all culminate in a real job interview with local employers at a job fair at Jefferson on April 20.
Edgewater Collective is looking for adults to volunteer as interviewers on Wednesday, February 1 and/or Thursday, February 2. The mock interviews will take place from 1-2 pm and they will have a brief meeting and instructions for volunteers from 12:30-1 pm.
