Join Edgewater Collective for a community work day at the Jefferson Community Garden this Saturday, April 22 for Earth Day! Stop on by the garden at 24th and Pierce from 9 am – noon and get your hands dirty.
We’ll be preparing the garden plots for the growing season and beautifying the surrounding areas. Bring a main dish, side or dessert to share for lunch.
The Jefferson Community Garden is a collaboration between Denver Urban Gardens, Jefferson Junior/Senior High School and the community.
Joel has been a resident of Edgewater, Colorado with his family since 2012. He is the Executive Director of local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective and Editor of the Edgewater Echo.
I’m so excited to get the plots ready for growing. Happy Earth Day Edgewater!
