Jefferson Jr/Sr High School and Edgewater Collective have almost 50 students signed up for the College Jumpstart program this summer! They are looking for mentors to meet with students three times during the summer to help prepare students for college.
Mentors will work with a small group of students (3-4) in June, July and August and provide encouragement and advice as they prepare for college. Mentoring groups will meet in person for an hour each month and communicate over email or phone in between meetings.
Let us know if you are interested in becoming a mentor by emailing joel@edgewatercollective.org or calling (303) 658-0779.
Joel has been a resident of Edgewater, Colorado with his family since 2012. He is the Executive Director of local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective and Editor of the Edgewater Echo.
