From local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective:
The City of Edgewater is wrapping up their Market and Music for the season this Thursday night from 5-8 pm. We are partnering with Joyride Brewing Company to sell their local brews during the market. Proceeds from the beer sales go to benefit the College Jumpstart program and its goal of connecting more Jefferson Jr/Sr High School graduates with college.
Come on down to 25th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard this Thursday night and support our local graduates!
We are also looking for a few volunteers to help us with the event. Here are the roles and times:
- Setup help: 3-5 pm
- Beer sales help: 5-8 pm
For those that help out, we’ll throw in a free Edgewater t-shirt and a beer (if you are 21+). Email Joel Newton (joel@edgewatercollective.org) if you would like to help with this fun event.
