From Jefferson County Public Library:
Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) and Humphries Poli Architects are co-hosting two community meetings to preview preliminary designs for the new library in Edgewater. JCPL is partnering with the City of Edgewater to put a 10,000 square-foot library in the new Edgewater Civic Center, planned for opening in late 2018.
The meetings will be held as follows:
- Thursday, Nov. 2, 6 – 7:30 pm
Happy Leaf Kombucha
5700 W. 25th Avenue
Edgewater
- Saturday, Nov. 4, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Edgewater Recreation Room
5845 W. 25th Avenue
Edgewater
At the meetings, representatives from Humphries Poli Architects will present a brief update on results from the September community meetings and invite feedback on the latest planning concepts for the library design. Participants will be asked to weigh in on areas of particular interest (Adult Spaces, Children, Teen, Technology, etc.), and at the end of the meeting all feedback will be collected and shared.
