Last night (7/19/2018) at the Edgewater City Council meeting it was unveiled that City Street Investors is in conversation with the City of Edgewater to purchase and redevelop the City-owned properties on the northeast corner of 25th Avenue and Gray Street. These buildings currently house the Edgewater Library and formerly were the home of the Edgewater Fire Department and City Hall.
A few months back City Street Investors led a community conversation with neighbors and Edgewater residents about what they would like to see on the property. The ownership of City Street Investors also own Sloan’s Bar and Grill and the building that houses the Edgewater Police Department.
On their website City Street Investors lays out their values for commercial redevelopment, “With both multi-tenant and single tenant properties, we have focused on commercial properties unique to the communities in which they reside. Always with an eye on preserving historical details while modernizing the functionality and design, we seek to leave a space better than we find it.”
City Street Investors have been connected to many different development projects around Denver including Denver Union Station.
Stay tuned for more specifics on what the redevelopment of 25th and Gray will look like and what tenants will be a part of the space.
