From the Edgewater Police Department:
At about 9:15 this evening (9/18/2018) a lone female was walking along 25th and Chase when she was confronted by two males at gunpoint. The two males stole the woman’s TAN ENVELOPE STYLE PURSE CONTAINING A BLUE WRIST STYLE WALLET and associated keys and ID.
Please call JEFFCOM DISPATCH at 303-980-7335 if you see items resembling either the purse, wallet or ID’s – please do not touch the items.
Two Suspects:
S- 1 Black male, 18 – 23 years of age, thin build, wearing black shorts, black shirt with a black shirt wrapped around his face.
S – 2 Hispanic or Middle Eastern male, 18 – 23 years of age, about 5-8/thin build, wearing black shorts, white shirt with a white shirt wrapped around his face and carrying a small black handgun.
Our victim reported that the suspects had been walking eastbound on the south side of W. 25th Ave, west of Chase Street when they confronted the victim who had been walking westbound on the north side of W. 25th Ave. The suspects fled northbound on Chase Street after robbing the victim of her purse.
As of the time of this report Edgewater Police have not located any of the stolen items.
