Currently, the biggest opportunity in the Edgewater area resides in our schools. 9 in 10 students in our neighborhood schools are working hard to overcome the challenges of poverty. Without placing the blame, local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective is building partnerships to make sure that every child in our zip code has a chance to succeed from cradle to career. Their projects focus on supporting teachers and staff, cultivating partnerships between schools and the community and advocating for the right resources to help all students succeed.
Join Edgewater Collective for Study Break 2018 on November 3rd at the Lakewood Country School House. At this fundraising event you can relax with drinks and dessert, test your knowledge for prizes in a quiz tournament, and help us reach our $15,000 fundraising goal to ensure #AllKidsSucceed.
