At this month’s Edgewater Sustainability Seminar, Eric Wilson will present on the 5-year process of upgrading his 1950s vintage house in Wheat Ridge to be energy efficient and carbon free. His presentation will cover the upgrade process, costs, hiccups along the way, and myths about electric heating.
Eric lives in Wheat Ridge with his family and formerly served on the inaugural Sustainable Wheat Ridge committee. Eric is a researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where he works with a team developing software tools for understanding energy saving opportunities in homes across the country.
