From Community Activation for Prevention Study:
Are you interested in gardening?
Have you been thinking about having a garden but don’t know where to start? Or don’t have a place to garden now?
The Community Activation for Prevention Study (CAPS) is looking for participants for a research study on community gardening!
Participants must be at least 18 years old and be new to gardening or haven’t gardened in the past 2 years.
Once enrolled, participants will be randomly assigned to:
- Receive a Denver Urban Garden community plot near their home, plants and seeds, and gardening education in 2019, OR
- Wait to garden and receive a DUG community garden plot, seeds, plants and gardening education in 2020. Financial compensation will be provided. Call us to find out more!
