Edgewater Public Market Opening Soon

The sign for the Edgewater Public Market has been installed. It was inspired by the Pike Place Market sign in Seattle and designed by RiNo Sign Works.

Editor’s Note: Earlier today we reported that the Grand Opening would be Saturday, November 16 based on Instagram posts from vendors and what we later found out was an imposter Instagram account. So stay tuned on an official Grand Opening announcement from the Edgewater Public Market. If you are an Instagram user, follow @edgewaterpublicmkt for updates on the Edgewater Public Market.

The end is in sight for the redevelopment of the former King Soopers building at 20th and Depew in Edgewater. We have not yet received official confirmation from the Edgewater Public Market on an official Grand Opening date.

We’ll report more details on the Grand Opening as soon as we receive them.

Here are businesses that have been announced will be part of the Edgewater Public Market by the management company and other sources:

Food Hall Vendors

Other Retailers

There are also three other buildings that will house tenants as part of this redevelopment. There is a new building at the southeast corner of the redevelopment with two spots that developers hope will house fast casual restaurants. Then there is the renovated former home of Depew Liquors on the southwest corner which developers hope will be a restaurant space. It sounds like vegan eatery Meta Burger will be in one of these three spots.

The renovated strip mall to the east of the former King Soopers will open after the food hall but Row House fitness studio was one of the first tenants connected to this space.

I reside right off Sheridan Blvd here in Edgewater, and I have noticed the influx of vehicles running some type muffler/converter that is extremely loud, bordering on nuisance. Does Edgewater have a noise nuisance code?
