From Joyride Brewing Company:
Thursday marks the 86th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition, and we’re celebrating with a beer release, specials, and a march with our friends across the street, Providence At 5280.
To start, we’ll be releasing our Pre-Prohibition style Pilsner, Veritable Riot, when we open on Thursday and it’ll be on Happy Hour pricing all day. Then starting at 6pm, we’ll be having a 21st Amendment Day party with festive music and a free first beer for anyone who dresses up in 1920’s-30’s attire (think vests, flapper dresses, feathers, pocket watches, boller hats, etc).
Then at 7pm, we’ll march down 25th Avenue with “We Want Beer” signs to Providence at 5280, who will be transforming into a speakeasy with special Prohibition era cocktails. Then, at 8:30pm, we’ll march back to Joyride and everyone who participated in the march with get their second beer free. Then, when we close around 10, we’ll march BACK to Providence for more high end hooch.
It’s gonna be a swell night, Pally, that’s sure to turn up aces.
