As each year moves to a close, Coloradans look to give back to nonprofits in their community on Colorado Gives Day. Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. The event is powered by ColoradoGives.org, a year-round, online giving website.
Here are some of the nonprofits whose work has a positive impact on the Edgewater community:
Oversees an excellent after school art and design space for teenagers at the Gold Crown Clubhouse at 25th and Chase in Edgewater.
Cultivates partnerships for thriving Edgewater neighborhoods, schools and businesses as well as publishing the Edgewater Echo.
Provides services for those who are aging in our community.
Jefferson County Library Foundation
Provides initiatives and services to support the Edgewater Library and other libraries across the county.
Provides a variety of supports for schools in Jeffco including the Jeffco Summer of Early Learning in our Edgewater schools.
Providing weekend food for students in underserved schools in our area and across the county.
