At Edgewater Collective we love supporting our local teachers, staff and principals! This spring has been especially hard on teachers and staff because they have been separated from what drew them to working in education: connecting with students in classrooms, clubs and sports teams. So as this school year ends, we want to give back to teachers, staff and principals at our four local schools (Edgewater Elementary, Jefferson Junior/Senior, Lumberg Elementary and Molholm Elementary).
Last week and this week we are working with local bars and breweries to pay for a drink for teachers, staff and principals at these four schools. Last week we partnered with Joyride Brewing and Providence at 5280. This week we are partnering with Barquentine Brewing and possibly a couple more bars/breweries. And for those that don’t drink, we are working with Happy Cones at the Edgewater Public Market to pay for ice cream.
A side benefit to this effort is that it also helps out our local businesses as they are struggling to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic.
So this week consider donating a drink or an ice cream to one or more of our great Jefferson Area teachers and staff!
