The Edgewater City Council will meet for a Business Meeting and Work Session on Tuesday, June 2 starting at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be virtual.
Here are items of note in the agenda:
- Discussion of an Emergency Ordinance that would allow for expansion of liquor license premises into outdoor dining spaces in the street and parking areas.
- Amendment to the purchase agreement between West Shore Hospitality and the City of Edgewater for the former City Hall property at 2401 Sheridan Boulevard. This will allow the developer to have additional time for planning efforts.
- Itemization of City use of CARES Act funding.
- Presentation of monthly reports including Sales Tax Revenue Report and Edgewater Police Department. City sales tax revenue was down 7.68% from last year for the month of April.
