Starting on September 14, Pathway Pods will offer free after school programming from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for students in the Jefferson Area schools (Edgewater Elementary, Lumberg Elementary, Molholm Elementary and Jefferson Junior/Senior High). Fall Pathway Pods will run from September 14 through October 22 at Walker-Branch Park. Edgewater Collective is excited to partner with Balón USA to offer a soccer pod and are hoping to add other enrichment pods to Pathway Pods.
Edgewater Collective is looking for local teaching talent to lead the following pods on either Monday and Tuesday for kindergarten through 2nd grade students or Wednesday and Thursday for 3rd through 6th grade students.
Here are the pods they would like to offer:
- Art pod
- Dance pod
- Theater pod
- STEM pod
Leaders will be paid $20-25 an hour based on qualifications and experience. Edgewater Collective is looking for those that have experience teaching children and are passionate about these enrichment areas.
They will also be offering a parent pod for relationship building, encouragement and resource sharing.
If interested in teaching, email Joel Newton (joel@edgewatercollective.org) your resume as well as which pod and age group you would like to teach.
Joel has been a resident of Edgewater, Colorado with his family since 2012. He is the Executive Director of local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective and Editor of the Edgewater Echo.
