Edgewater Collective is working with Jeffco Communities That Care to create an Edgewater Collective Youth Council which will provide a leadership table led by local youth. The goal is that youth will look at data and feedback from their peers to determine the biggest needs and opportunities that impact youth in the greater Edgewater community. Then the Youth Council will work together to advocate and implement policies and programs that address these needs and opportunities.
The first step in creating the Edgewater Collective Youth Council is hiring a 3-person team of student interns from Jefferson Junior/Senior High School that will work with Edgewater Collective staff to start the Youth Council. Students that are interested can take part in the Internship Info Session.
