We love spotlighting local businesses right here in Edgewater. Today we are talking with Matt Clark from Clark Woodworks.
How did you get involved in this business?
A few months ago a friend of mine asked me to make him a Colorado themed piece of wood art for his office. He really liked it and suggested I make and sell Colorado flag art. Having already had the tools and resources, I began researching what woods and materials to use and the artistic style I liked. After a few prototypes I finalized a look that I really liked and started building them at home in my garage.
What products/services do you offer?
I sell Colorado flag art made of cedar wood. We sell small medium and large flags, with and without hooks and cedar wood bottle openers.
What makes your business unique?
All of my flags are handmade without any computerized cutting tools. Each flag is unique and made individually. Whenever possible I used reclaimed wood and local bought materials.
