From Anne’s à la Mode:
Pie wins the day, and cobbler was crowned by the Governor’s Plate Competition at the 150th
Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, Colorado. Triumphing over a tasty competition between 9
inventive food trucks, Anne’s à la Mode captured the Governor’s Plate award by winning the
hearts and mouths of judges, including the governor himself, Jared Polis.
In its 2nd year celebrating Colorado agriculture, the Governor’s Plate challenged mobile chefs
to serve up their most mouthwatering creations, made with local ingredients. Anne’s à la Mode
dished out a combo no true Coloradan can resist – a Habanero Peach Cup-O-Cobbler. All
qualifying food trucks tote the Colorado Proud logo by sourcing locally grown, raised or
processed agricultural products.
Anne’s à la Mode holds the Golden Plate from a winning combo of flavors, but also in a valued
combination of a family owned and operated business that supports local Agricultural families.
The Habanero Peach Cup-O-Cobbler is filled with Palisade Peaches and baked with Moxi Mill
Flour from Boulder. You can find this scrumptious treat, among other Pies on their menu as
they rollup to festivals and events all over Colorado. You can find their pies at the CO-OP Market
& Kitchen at Wheat Ridge Poultry too!
