The wrestling program at Jefferson Junior/Senior High School in Edgewater continues its dominance by sending wrestlers to the state tournament at Ball Arena this weekend. Five members of the boys wrestling team and three members of the girls wrestling team, along with two students from the Unified Team, will compete starting Thursday.
Jefferson wrestling coach Oscar Fonseca will receive his 20 year coaching pin during the State Championships. Fonseca has served as a wrestling coach at Jefferson for 18 years (2 as an assistant coach and 16 as head coach).
