From the event organizers:
Celebrate the 91st anniversary of the end of Prohibition with a 21st Amendment Day Bar Crawl! Bars along Edgewater’s Historic Main Street will be transforming into “speakeasies” with Prohibition-style beers and cocktails. We encourage you to dress in your finest ’20’s garb. If you visit all 5 locations between 1-8pm, you’ll have a chance to win some swell prizes! Come on down to 25th Avenue, it’s going to be the cat’s meow!
You can choose your own adventure in regards to what order you go, but your completed stamp card must be turned in at Joyride by 8pm if you’d like to be eligible for prizes. We’ll pull cards out of a hat to determine winners at 8:15pm, no need to be present to win, but encouraged!
If you’d like to be apart of the “official” march through town in a large, fun group, the loose schedule is as follows:
- 1:00pm Meet at Joyride
- 1:30pm Depart Joyride
- 1:45pm Arrive at Edgewater Beer Garden
- 2:45pm Depart Edgewater Beer Garden
- 3:00pm Arrive at Electric Cure
- 4:00pm Depart Electric Cure, arrive at Lot 46
- 5:00pm Depart Lot 46, arrive at Edgewater Inn
- 6:00pm Depart Edgewater Inn, return to Joyride
