The Denver Colfax Marathon is coming this Sunday, May 18, and will bring some road closures to the Edgewater area. The race begins at 6 a.m. at City Park, so Sloan’s Lake will be busy for much of the morning. Pierce Street will be closed from Colfax Avenue north to 20th Avenue, as well as 20th Avenue west of Pierce Street.
