Tonight is a Special Session of the Board of Directors of the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District. This meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the following location:

Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033
The meeting is open to the public.
Here are a few reminders for Edgewater residents concerning the Wheat Ridge Fire District:
- Edgewater is part of the Wheat Ridge Fire District.
- When there is a fire emergency in Edgewater, we have adequate coverage from the Wheat Ridge Fire District as well as other fire districts that surround us and respond when necessary.
- The Wheat Ridge Fire District is separate from the City of Wheat Ridge. It is a special district under Title 32 of the Colorado Revised Statues.
- There will be an election this May to fill seats for the Wheat Ridge Fire District Board of Directors.
