Our Holiday Lighting Ceremony is a combined effort from the Wheat Ridge Fire Department, Jeffco Library, Colorado Senior Connections, Edgewater Parks and Rec, Edgewater Optimist Club, and Sloans Bar and Grille. This year Santa will be coming on a different sleigh to turn on the lights for the City of Edgewater. Hot chocolate, candy canes, warm chili from Sloans Bar and Grille will be available for purchase to keep everyone warm.
Performances from Edgewater Youth Dance with Ms. Jackie Oxford and Dance Exploration. Then we will have carol singing from the Jefferson Unitarian choir.
To top it off, don’t forget about the gingerbread house making that everyone can also be a part of. To get a ginger bread house making kit it’s $5 but the rest of the festival is free to enjoy. So come early to make your gingerbread house and then stick around to watch Santa turn on the lights for the City.
It’s bound to be a great, fun filled night for everyone. We’ll even have fire pits going out on the street to keep people warm.
