Playa Bowls Grand Opening This Saturday

Playa Bowls Edgewater will hold their Grand Opening this Saturday, February 19 at 11 a.m. The first 100 customers will receive free bowls and the first 50 customers will receive free legendary custom t-shirts.

According to their website, “Playa Bowls™ is your slice of summer, anytime. Using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, we serve healthy, delicious açaí, pitaya, coconut bowls and smoothies with sustainability and community in mind.”

We also chatted with co-owner Cody Benisch about opening in Edgewater:

How did you get involved in this business?
We were looking to get back into the restaurant industry and visited the location in Summit, New Jersey. After going back for three days straight, we knew we had to bring it Colorado. The response to our first location in Littleton was incredible, which motivated us to continue expanding.

What drew you to move to Edgewater?
The amazing small town feel, and the whole community vibe. Playa Bowls is a gathering place, as much as it is an acai bowl shop. We want people to feel at home in #pineappleland.

What products/services do you offer?
Smoothies, smoothie bowls, fresh juices, homemade protein bites and much much more! Stop in and experience it for yourselves!

What makes your business unique?
We bring a slice of the beach to the land locked state, all year round!!!

Playa Bowls Edgewater is located in the building that once housed the Edgewater Library at 5845 W. 25th Avenue.
