The Edgewater City Council will meet for a regularly scheduled Business Meeting and Work Session this Thursday night (3/1/2018) at 7 pm (2401 Sheridan Blvd.). During the Business Meeting, Council will discuss two ordinances which will pave the way for the proposed redevelopment at 20th and Depew. One ordinance changes the distance limitations between a school and a liquor serving establishment (20th and Depew is just south of Edgewater Elementary School). Another ordinance changes the zoning of the property to a traditional C-1 zoning instead of the original zoning from the 1970s.

Council will also consider the design of the new library on Harlan Street in the new Edgewater Civic Center and discuss how to fill the council vacancy that occurred when Kara Swanson resigned.
