City Clean-Up Event: The City of Edgewater in conjunction with Republic Services will again be offering the spring clean-up event. Alley way pick-up is scheduled for Monday April 30th with the dumpster drop off scheduled on Saturday May 5th. Please visit www.edgewaterco.com for information on what can be picked up or dropped off.

City Clerk’s Department

New City Council Member: At the April 5, 2018, Council meeting, the Edgewater City Council interviewed 3 applicants to fill the vacant Council seat. All applicants provided very unique qualifications and would be a great asset to the City Council. After a long debate, because of her experience and history in Edgewater, City Council voted to appoint Kara Swanson to fill the vacant seat. Kara was elected and served on City Council from 2015-2018, was a member of the Edgewater Redevelopment Authority from 2008-2011 and again from 2014-2015, and played a big part in the selection of the Civic Center design team. With all the new development happening throughout the City, it is good to know we have a full Council to make the final decisions on these issues.

Open Board Position: A reminder that there is still a vacant position available on the Edgewater Board of Adjustment and Appeals. Please visit our web site for more information or to get an application. www.edgewaterco.com

Day of Service: VOLUNTEERS needed! Join us on Saturday April 28th for the annual Spring Day of Service. Raking, Window Washing, Sweeping and Small Outdoor Projects. For more information please see the City web site at www.edgewaterco.com.
