This Thursday, July 19, brings some major development updates for the Edgewater community. The Edgewater City Council will meet for a regular Business Meeting and Work Session at 7 pm at City Hall (2401 Sheridan Boulevard).
The first major item on the City Council agenda is a presentation and possible action on the sale of city-owned property at 5845 W. 25th Avenue and 2514 Gray Street. These properties house the former town hall and fire station at the corner of 25th and Gray.
Next, Council will discuss and take possible action on the redevelopment of the old King Soopers at 20th and Depew. This redevelopment is named the Edgewater Public Market and includes a food hall and expanded retail spaces.
The redevelopment of these two spaces in Edgewater are the largest redevelopment projects in Edgewater since the redevelopment of the Edgewater Marketplace at 20th and Sheridan.
